Suspender Belts

When wearing a suspender belt it is important to remember to have the correct suspension. Most suspender belts are made for the bedroom and probably only stay on for 20 minutes or so.

If you are planning on wearing a suspender belt during the day, try to get a suspender belt with metal clasps as this will last the day - the plastic clasps just don't do the trick.

Also a point to remember is that belts usually come with four or six straps. Obviously the six straps will give you more support. Most will also have different length straps on the back, front and sides.

The back pair should be about an inch or two longer than the front. However, if you have six straps the front two will be the shortest, then the sides and inch longer and the back an inch longer than the sides.

When you start wearing your suspender belt and stockings you might find the stockings try to pull down the suspender belt, particularly if they are too short and you sit or kneel down. The way to get around this is to buy lingerie stockings that contain Lycra - you can keep your straps tight as the Lycra will stretch more than nylon.
